Hi, I’m Marcita “Keets” Maree

I started my journey as a freelance graphic designer in 2012, driven by a passion for visual storytelling.
Over the years, I expanded into photography, film, and animation, eventually specializing in capturing the energy of live performances.
I began creating Electronic Press Kits for musicians and collaborating with South African music magazines in 2014.
This helped shape my career as a full-time freelancer, combining my love for visual media and music.
Let’s create something amazing together!

2014 – COPA Business Development Centre
“We are incredibly proud to highlight the achievements of our talented student, Marcita Maree, a COPA CPT student and freelance photographer.
Marcita embarked on her journey into band photography in March 2014, and just a few months later, in July 2014, she had the exciting opportunity to work with LMG.
This partnership led to her covering the Cape Town World Music Festival, and she went on to photograph prominent events such as Sepultura and RAMFest.
